Bongo Players....

This thread is about those artists which have appeared at SRSM events.

Typically, the best two have been Albannach and Ted Christopher.

Both have appeared at various SRSM events, and have always been brilliant...

Anyone have any comments about them? Or any suggestions for future performers?

I like both of them, but they do share a common fault. They don't change their sets enough!

Originally we had the Laggan who did a great John MacLean. We still have some of their CDs. We had the Whisltebinkies, who are mainly instramental, but Mick Brodick did halarious monolgues. We also had John Graham and then Gerry MacGregor, Alan Horn on the banjo.

I always liked Sandy Mather, but we don't see much of him these days.

He didn't bring his fiddle and squeezebox last time, when Albannach didnae turn up a Arbroath last year.
